Dodital Trek, the trekkers’ eager interest towards Dodital Lake in Dodital region called Dodital trek. Through countless legendary history, Dodital is an episodic trekking destination at the current age. Dodital is the origin of God Ganesha ji and also famous for witnessing the beheading of the goddess by God Shiva. The flourishing wildlife scenery with crystal clear water turns this Dodital trek as a vital destination for the tourists and trekkers.
The Dodital trek starts from Delhi and finished their final journey within 9 days tours. From Delhi the trekkers ready to fly to Haridwar then turns towards Uttarkashi, Sangamchatti for trekking. And further, they went to Agoda, Manjhi and then Dodital under the 6th days of the Dodital trekking tours. Dodital is the estimated touring place of the trekkers. Dodital, the touring destination in India is the mixture of Asi Ganga vale to Bhagirathi Ganga gorge and to the Yamuna dale and vice versa. And after trekking in Dodital, tourists return to their home via Agoda, Sangamchatti and Rishikesh during their lasting days of the tour.
Despite a show of wildlife beauty in Dodital trek, there is a collection of variety in customs and heritage for which India trekking destination is famous.
Outline Day to Day Itinerary:
- Day 01:Arrival Delhi
- Day 02:Arriva Kathgodam & Drive To Loharkhet
- Day 03:Loharkhet – Kharkiya ( 5 HRS BY JEEP ) & TREK TO KHATI (5 kms, 2 hrs)
- Day 04:Khati – Dwali (2575 M/8498 FT)
- Day 05:Dwali – Phurkta (14300 FT) TO PINDARI CAMP SITE 3660 MTS (12,000 feet).
- Day 06:PINDARI GLACIER CAMP – DWALI
- Day 07:Bagubassa – Roopkund (4450 mts/14600 ft) – Bedni Bugyal (7-8 hrs)
- Day 08:Bedni Bugyal – Wan (10 km/ 3-4 hrs) – Rudraprayag
- Day 09:Rudraprayag – Haridwar – Delhi
- Day 10:Delhi – Departure
Detail Itinerary
- Day 01:Arrive- DelhiOn arrival meeting and assistance at the Airport followed by the traditional welcome by garlanding and then escorted transfer to your hotel . Rest of the day at leisure . overnight at hotel.
- Day 02:Delhi – Haridwar:In the morning after breakfast check out from the hotel, and drive towards Haridwar, Upon arrival at Haridwar, check in at the hotel. In the evening we will go to Har-ki-pouri for worship at Ganges Ghats. Overnight at hotel.
- Day 03:Haridwar-Kalyani In the morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive towards to the road-head at Kalyani. The drive takes you through the picturesque Garhwal mountains along the Ganges. Camp overnight by the side of river Asi Ganga. Overnight at Tents.
- Day 04:Kalyani-DoditalIn the morning after breakfast with packed lunch we will start our trek through beautiful landscape of thick forests and steep cliffs brings you to the mysterious Dodital Lake (3307 m) – surrounded by dense forests, it is an ideal place for the nature lover. Overnight at Tents.
- Day 05:DoditalDay at leisure. The crystal clear lake and the surrounding dense forests create an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. Explore the surrounding areas. Campfire dinner at night. Overnight in Forest Rest House / Tents.
- Day 06:Dodital – Darwa top – Sema ( 14 Kms Trek, 8 hours)After breakfast we will trek 5 kms up to reach Darwa top, Enjoy the scienc beauty of the Bandarpunch(Moneky Tail) Mountain and Gangotri Region, After spending some time here we will walk gradually 9 kms till reach towards Sema Meadows. Dinner and Overnight stay at Camps.
- Day 07:Sema – HanumanChatti ( 9kms trek)In the morning after breakfast we will start our trek towards Hanuman Chatti through dense forest and local villages. In the late afternoon check into the guest house.Overnight at guest house.
- Day 08:Hanuman Chatti – Yamunotri – Barkot ( 10 Kms Trek both side, 55 kms drive): Morning after breakfast check out from the guest house and drive towards Jankichatti, On arrival at Jankichatti, we will start our 5 kms trek towards Yamunotri, On arrival at Yamunotri do worship at Temple and back trek towards Jankichatti and drive towards Barkot. On arrival at Barkot check into the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
- Day 09:Barkot – Rishikesh : Morning after breakfast drive back to Rishikesh, Upon arrival at Rishikesh, check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
- Day 10:Rishikesh – Delhi – Departure : In the morning after breakfast check out from the hotel, and drive towards Delhi, Upon arrival at Delhi, transfer to the IGI airport to catch the flight for onward Destination.
